23/20 treble on France vs Republic of Ireland and other Euro 2024 Qualifying Predictions

Ahead of the international break, we’ve asked CopyBet ambassador and former Republic of Ireland goalkeeping legend Shay Given to give us his predictions for some of the biggest upcoming games, including his country’s clash with France.

Shay’s international treble returns at odds of 23/20 bet.

Shay's Prediction: France 2-0 Republic of Ireland

Back France to win

My heart’s saying Republic of Ireland for the win of course. But my head is saying France, I’m afraid. It’s going to be a very tough task for Stephen Kenny and his team to go to Paris and get a result.

France aren’t only favourites to top this qualifying group, they’re also favourites to win the Euro 2024 tournament and it’s easy to see why with the quality of players that they have.

I think it’ll be 2-0 to France and fancy Kylian Mbappé to score anytime.

Shay's Prediction: Cyprus 1-2 Scotland

Back Scotland to win

I am going to go with Scotland to get the away win in this one. They’ve started their campaign on fire with four victories on the bounce and are top of the group, so confidence will be sky high.

Steve Clarke and John Carver are doing a brilliant job and I think they’ll keep that momentum going against Cyprus.

It won’t be an easy game by any means but I’ll back Scotland to get the result 2-1. John McGinn is in good form for Aston Villa and I think he’ll get on the scoresheet here for his country.

Shay's Prediction: Ukraine 0-2 England

Back England to win

Like Scotland, England are flying high in their group with four wins out of four and I can’t see anything other than them making that five out of five here.

England beat Ukraine 2-0 at Wembley back in March and a repeat of that scoreline wouldn’t surprise me.

Harry Kane has hit the ground running at Bayern Munich so he’ll be a massive threat up top for Gareth Southgate’s men, as always.

And for Ukraine, having to play their home games in Poland isn’t easy for them either so I think they’ll struggle to get something from this match.
