COPYBET WEEKEND ACCA
29-30 October 2022

After another eventful week of European action, it’s back to domestic football this weekend and we have a tasty 50/1 fivefold for you to consider.

Here’s who we’re tipping and why:

Back Manchester City to win @ 3/10

Leicester City VS Manchester City – Saturday, October 29, 12.30

view details

As heavy odds on favourites, many may look beyond Manchester City this weekend but as one leg of a fivefold, Pep’s men still provide good value and we can’t see anything other than another three points for the defending champions.

Opponents Leicester City arguably produced their best performance of the season last time out against Wolves, winning 4-0. But Manchester City will pose a very different threat.

With four clean sheets in their last six games, the Cityzens are keeping it tight at the back while the likes of Haaland, De Bruyne and co terrorise opposition defenders. Expect more of the same in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.

Back Watford to win @ 13/10

Wigan Athletic VS Watford – Saturday, October 29, 15.00

view details

Watford ended a run of three successive defeats in style when they coasted to a 4-0 victory against Luton Town last time out and the Hornets can make it back-to-back wins when they travel to Wigan on Saturday.

Slaven Bilic’s side have been underwhelming so far this season and currently sit 10th in the league but they have an abundance of attacking talent and can pile more misery on a Wigan side that have lost 4 of their last 5 matches and are hovering just above the relegation zone.

Back a draw @ 11/5

Brighton & Hove Albion VS Chelsea – Saturday, October 29, 15.00

view details

Graham Potter makes a first return to Brighton on Saturday, following his September departure to manage Chelsea, and the hosts will be desperate to make it an uncomfortable experience for their former boss.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their nine matches under Potter so far but have stuttered a little of late, drawing their last two league matches. After a very bright start to the campaign, Brighton are now without a win in their last five although the Seagulls have only been beaten once on home turf.

Buoyed on by the motivation of facing their old manager and having had a clear week while Chelsea were in European action, Brighton can take a share of the spoils in this one.

Back Aleksandar Mitrovic to score anytime @ 21/20

Fulham VS Everton – Saturday, October 29, 17.30

view details

Fulham come into Saturday’s clash with Everton having taken seven points from their last three Premier League games and netted eight times in the process.

Confidence is sky-high amongst Marco Silva’s squad and the Whites will fancy their chances of another positive result this weekend, especially with star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic in a rich vein of scoring form.

The Serb has found the net six times in Fulham’s six home games so far this season and we’re backing him to get on the scoresheet again here at 21/20.

Back Manchester United to win to nil @ 9/5

Manchester United VS West Ham United – Sunday, October 30, 16.15

view details

Back to back defeats for Manchester United at the start of the season sent the club into meltdown but much improved form has seen them beaten just once in the league since and Erik ten Hag’s side are beginning to look like genuine Champions League contenders.

Marshalled at the back by the excellent Lisandro Martinez, the Red Devils have kept three straight clean sheets at Old Trafford and they can make that four when they face West Ham on Sunday.

The Hammers have struggled on the road so far this season, losing at Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool and managing just one draw, away at Southampton.

David Moyes’ men have the quality to cause United problems but we’re tipping the home side to prevail without conceding.
