Weekend Racing Tips at Naas and Cork – Irish NH Tips

This son of Blue Point made a very taking debut at the Curragh just four weeks ago. He was held up in rear and plenty green in his run, but the penny dropped late, and he finished a staying on third eating up the ground. The step up in trip here is sure to suit him, and with the experience of his debut behind him now, he should be very hard to beat.

This filly broke her maiden last season at the second attempt before finishing off her season beaten under two lengths in a Group 3. She made her seasonal reappearance in a strong looking Group 3 in Navan that contained at least a couple of Group 1 fillies. I suspect she needed the run plenty that day and with race fitness on her side here and dropping in class she could be difficult to beat.

This mare has some smart form in bumpers and honestly, I'm surprised she hasn't broken her maiden tag by now. This will be her second run after switching from John Kiely to Henry De Bromhead and I'm hoping she will have come on plenty for her run last time. Plenty will have question marks about the yards form, and that may lead to her being a bigger price than she otherwise would be but I'm willing to take the chance. Here's hoping for a big run.
