A smart recruit to hurdling off the flat, this gelding has some proper hurdles form to his name this spring behind some graded juveniles. He was more than capable of holding his own against 120 to 130 rated performers despite some indifferent jumping. If he ever gets his jumping together he could be a very smart hurdler but as long as he stays on his feet here I can't see him beat. If he stands up he wins.

This filly has a couple of runs under her belt already this year and sets a fair standard in this field. Her run last time was a good step forward from her debut and she stayed on well late to get 3rd at Naas that day. A reproduction of that run and maybe even another step forward on some nicer ground she could be very difficult to beat here. Hopefully she can put her experience to good use. She should go close.

This horse has long been on my radar from before his rules debut back in the depths of the winter. He has run some good races in defeat to date without ever really threatening in maidens but he showed plenty spark last time in a competitive handicap at Fairyhouse. He travelled with plenty enthusiasm that day before fading from the last home. This better ground should be right up his street and the weight of money behind him last time suggests connections think there's plenty talent there. Should the money come again it would be foolish not to take notice.
