Saturday Racing Tips – Irish NH Tips
This horse ran a really nice race on debut behind a Ballydoyle newcomer who has since gone on to win a listed race impressively. He was only beaten by less than three lengths that day. With natural progression from his first to second start, and taking what he learned on that occasion, he rates as a really difficult horse to oppose.
He should take a hell of a lot of beating, and I look forward to seeing what he can do.
This horse bumped into two really nice types on his first two starts in the shape of Lady Iman and Gstaad before making no mistake breaking his maiden at the third attempt in a Royal Ascot Group 2 no less.
He has proven himself to be more than capable of running some big numbers over five and six furlongs so far this season, and he goes back up in trip here on the back of his win over the minimum trip at Ascot last time. He’s a tough battle hardened two-year-old, and he has found a very nice opportunity here to get yet another Group 2 to his name and I will be very disappointed if he can't do the business here.
This horse is a real talented sprinter but in his career to date, especially as a two-year-old last season, I questioned his resolution whether he would actually go and put a race to bed when he came off the bridle having seemingly thrown away a couple of opportunities in the past. He made no mistake at Cork last time though when winning easily and he has a real live chance here.
I'll be expecting a bold display, and while he lacks experience at this sort of level, I believe he could well be up to it, and I am willing to take a chance to find out!
