Saturday Racing Tips – Irish NH Tips
This horse is having only the second start of his life here having made a taking debut in a Gowran Park maiden last time. He travelled well, just in behind the leaders that day but when Jack Cleary pulled him out from in behind runners and sent him for home the response was immediate. He quickened up smartly and even though he ran around a bit showing his inexperience he ran out a very comfortable winner. That was over seven furlongs and today's mile trip should suit even better.
With loads of scope for improvement and an impressive debut behind him where he will have learned plenty natural progression makes him a very difficult horse to beat.
This horse has shown himself to be a horse with plenty of ability both on the flat and over hurdles to date. A maiden winner on the flat after five starts and he added a maiden hurdle to his CV recently when getting the better of a decent performer in the shape of Lukers Tipple at Punchestown.
He’s a strong traveller who should be well suited by the quick nature of this track and with Noel Meade amongst the winners in recent days, there is plenty reasons to be hopeful that he can take a step forward here and progress again.
He has the highest official rating of all of these and hopefully he can prove the handicapper right and get the job done and get another win under his belt here to make it three wins from nine starts.
This horse has been in a rich vein of form over the summer having won a nice pot at Killarney in May on his return to hurdles having been chasing. He has since ran with a lot of credit when wrong at the weights with Jesse Evans who won a grade three on Thursday. He was a touch unfortunate last time just losing out in a ding long battle at Clonmel when beaten a nose on the line.
He hails from a yard that is in flying form and if he puts his best foot forward at a track that favours front runners, then he may well be very difficult to beat, and he should be a decent price too. He definitely has very strong each way claims in a competitive race.
