Royal Ascot Friday Tips – Irish NH Tips
This horse remains unbeaten after four starts and took the step up in trip and class last time in his stride. He ran out a very good winner of a listed race last time at Goodwood where he eased clear to win by four lengths in taking fashion.
He steps into Group 2 company here and up another furlong in a trip of a mile and a half. He looks like the trip will really suit him and he’s earned his spot at the head of the market. If he runs his race, he will be very difficult to beat and looks like a Group 1 horse in the making to me.
This filly was set a stiff task on debut in a Group 3 at Naas where she bumped into as smart a two-year-old as we have seen this season in the shape of Lady Iman. She only went down by just over two lengths that day which was a monster effort against more experienced and battle-hardened fillies. A tough first day at school like that should stand her in really good stead here and if she steps forward like she should then she has really strong credentials. She won't be far away.
This horse was an impressive winner at this meeting last year over a mile and a quarter. He didn't run after that last season so obviously he has had some physical problems since then. He was sent off a warm order at Newmarket in May over nine furlongs and disappointed, but I’m willing to forgive him on the back of such a long layoff. I'm sure he needed it, and with that race fitness under his belt now and the step up in trip, I expect a much-improved performance.
Form at this meeting in previous years is worth its weight in gold and hopefully for us he can put his best foot forward at this meeting again. I'm expecting a very big run.
