Racing Lee’s Ebor Festival Thursday Tips
My motto is ‘stick with the best horse’, and we all know she’s the best in this field. She has to give nine pound to the younger Content, who’s a live danger, but she beat her by nearly four lengths in the Group One Pretty Polly, giving 12 pounds.
She was never at the races the last day, and the trainer had no explanation for the poor show, although she was last out the stalls and it would have been tough to make up that much ground all the same.
If she can show her form, she could brush these aside with ease.
She’s off a low weight, and having been nudged up just three pounds, she could still be well-handicapped.
She’s won four races in a row, and two runs back, hosed up over the course when coming down the wide outside of the pack to score well.
That was in a Class Two, and last time out got up to win at the line in a race that’s already worked out well, with the eighth winning the Great St Wilfred at Ripon last weekend.
She could still have a little up her sleeve to go in again at a course she handles well.
She’s been running well in good races this season, and I’m giving another chance to Dora Milaje to get her head back in front.
She’s outsider of the field at the time of writing, but stayed on powerfully last weekend to snatch fourth in a Listed race at Haydock.
She’s worth a small each-way play to hopefully power home for the places at least.
