QPR vs Ipswich Town 21/10 Bet Builder – Mark O’Haire

QPR boss Julien Stephan admitted Rangers could have no complaints about their defeat at Derby last week. An early goal for the Rams was enough to sink the R’s who came into the contest off the back of a solid success at Swansea with the back-to-back away games in the space of three days influencing performance levels.

Stephen said, “Derby deserved their win. They started the game with more intensity, more ferocity, more physicality than us and they attacked well. We were not able collectively to react enough and to use the ball to create something, so I think it’s very simple to analyse, they were better than us.”

QPR will be eager to respond this weekend when recently relegated Ipswich arrive at Loftus Road. Rangers have recently welcomed Ilias Chair back from injury, whilst Rhys Norrington-Davies returned to the starting XI last week. Liam Morrison was back on the bench, giving Stephan plenty of options ahead of Saturday’s showdown.

Both Teams to Score – Yes

Entertainment should be in the offing at Loftus Road. QPR have scored in 10 of 12 Championship outings under Julien Stephan, notching in four out of five W12 outings. Ipswich have gotten on the scoresheet in nine of 11 league dates, though Town have just twice kept their sheets clean. BTTS has thus far banked in eight out of 12 and seven of 11 respective showdowns.

Total Goals – Under 4.5

Despite a recommendation for both sides to score in the capital, matches involving QPR and Ipswich have rarely opened into shootouts. Just two of the teams’ combined 23 Championship contests this term have featured five strikes or more with 17 of those matches producing Under 3.5 Goals profit, let alone Under 4.5 Goals.

Total Cards –
Over 3.5

Samuel Allison has been handed the whistle here and the stringent official has already flashed card totals of 5-2-6-5 in his four league encounters in 2025/26. Meanwhile, eight of QPR’s last nine league games have seen the Over 3.5 Cards line pay-out, whilst Ipswich have followed suit in all four of their away days with tallies of 4-6-8-5.
