Punchestown Saturday Tips – Irish NH Tips
This mare has clearly had issues in her career to date but on her day, she is very talented. She disappointed in a major way at Christmas in Limerick on stable debut for Willie Mullins but she made no mistake when she returned to Limerick about five weeks ago. She travelled extremely well and jumped with aplomb the whole way. She's a mare going places and a mark of 136 is firmly within her compass. I'll be very disappointed if she doesn't go close.
This horse has long been a favourite of mine and while he's trying an extreme trip for the first time, I believe he will have no problem staying. He's primarily been campaigned over two and a half miles throughout his career, but he wasn't beaten far in two miles seven-furlong novice hurdle on heavy ground in December 2023.
He's a big scopey individual who jumps very economically. I think this trip will bring out more improvement in him and while he was keen in the past over shorter, I think he has matured enough now that settling him won't be an issue. He has a big chance at a decent price.
This horse, while he is a bit of an enigmatic, he's a very talented horse on his day. He's gone well fresh in the past and comes here having his first start since the Thyestes at Gowran Park in January. He's at his best going right-handed and he's on a mark I still believe has a bit of leeway in it for him.
He's a strong traveller who maybe doesn't always find as much as is promised but a repeat of his win at Galway in the autumn may well be enough to see him feature here. He has a decent each way chance at what will no doubt be a big price.
