NFL 2025 Season Week One Tips – Copybet

NFL fans can rejoice this weekend as the 2025 season gets underway across two countries.

As well as 15 games taking place in the USA, the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, start the season on night one against the Dallas Cowboys on Friday, but for this week's tips, we have picked out three games from Sunday's slate.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns

Sun 07 Sept, 18:00

The Bengals will be eager to start strongly this season, something they have struggled to do under head coach Zac Taylor.

Cincinnati missed out on the play-offs in 2024, despite quarterback Joe Burrow throwing for 4,918 yards. He will lean heavily on wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase in Week 1, while running back Chase Brown looks set for a big season.

The Bengals have won three matches in a row against the Browns, scoring at least 21 points in each of those games. The Browns were last in scoring in 2024 and their offensive line is weaker than last year.

Cleveland are expected to struggle once again this season without an elite option at quarterback and the Bengals should have too much firepower on offence.

Arizona Cardinals vs New Orleans Saints

Sun 07 Sept, 18:00

Jonathan Gannon's Cardinals are being labelled as "dark horses" for the play-offs in 2025. Arizona's defence has improved thanks to the arrival of Josh Sweat, Dalvin Tomlinson and Calais Campbell, while they also added Walter Nolen III in the first round of the draft.

While an injury keeps Nolen III sidelined for the first few weeks, Arizona's offence should still be able to have plenty of the ball.

If second-year wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. can enjoy a better year alongside quarterback Kyler Murray, the Cardinals can stay competitive.

They should face little competition from the Saints, who are already planning for 2026 after Derek Carr's sudden retirement. The Saints roster looks vulnerable to injury across the board and they should be outclassed by the Cardinals in Week 1.

Tennessee Titans vs Denver Broncos

Sun 07 Sept, 21:05
The Titans are starting a new era after drafting quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall pick. Tennessee's front office also improved their offensive line, but it is still a tall order for Ward to help his new team beat the Broncos on Sunday. Broncos coach Sean Payton managed to turn his team into play-off contenders last season and their elite defence should give Ward plenty of problems. Cornerback Pat Surtain II, defensive tackle Zach Allen, linebacker Dre Greenlaw and safety Talanoa Hufanga could all stand out in what should be a good day for the Broncos at home.
