Newmarket July Festival Saturday Tips – Irish NH Tips

This filly wasn't beaten too far into sixth in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last time out. Held up in the rear before staying on well to be beaten by three and a half lengths, and she was really well fancied that day.

She runs here off just 1lb higher now. This looks a very winnable opportunity back to seven furlongs and I would imagine they will make a bit more use on her here. If she gets a good position early, I'm confident of a very good run.

This horse has had a cracking start to the season and marked the start to life at the William Haggas stable with a pair of wins before just being narrowly touched off at Ascot last time in the Wokingham.

He came from right out the back of the field that day and only just failed to catch the front runner, Get It, who scored by a very narrow margin. He steps up in trip here from six to seven furlongs which should really suit and hopefully he can make up for last time.

This horse had her first blip in a long time when disappointing on the last day at Royal Ascot in the King Charles III Stakes, a race she went off favourite for. I think the market has overreacted with 9/1 about this horse who acts equally well over five and six furlongs and will be staying on when others will have long cried enough.

She’s a tough hardy mare who rarely ever runs a bad race and she's a certainty to be in the frame in my eyes. Hopefully she goes well and she's more than capable of scooping the lot here.
