QPR picked up their first point of the new Championship season last weekend as goals from Jimmy Dunne and Lyndon Dykes saw Rangers battle back from a 2-0 deficit to earn a share of the spoils at Sheffield United. The R’s now return to Loftus Road on Saturday to face Plymouth.

Double Chance – QPR or Draw

Bet now

QPR have suffered only six league losses in 18 W12 outings under Marti Cifuentes and Rangers will be eager to build on their promising second-half performance at Sheffield United. New signings Koki Saito and Karamoko Dembele made an immediate impact in attacking areas, giving the R’s a much-needed creative boost.

With Plymouth returning just W3-D7-L14 on their travels since securing promotion, I’m happy to back QPR to avoid defeat here by entering the Double Chance market.

Total Goals – Under 3.5 Goals

Bet now

Last season’s Loftus Road meeting between QPR and Plymouth ended goalless – and whilst plenty has changed in both camps since – another relatively low-scoring encounter could be on the cards. A tasty 13 of Rangers’ aforementioned 18 home games under Cifuentes have fallen below this line and just six of Argyle’s 24 away trips since the beginning of last term featured four goals or more.

Under 3.5 Goals therefore makes plenty of sense with a range of the most likely correct scores onside.

Total Corners – Each Team Over 1.5

Bet now

QPR play with plenty of width under Cifuentes and the Spaniard’s approach has led to a glut of corners. The R’s forced 12 corners in their curtain-raising clash with West Brom, before winning nine at Bramall Lane.

The Hoops have now earned a minimum of three corners in 15 of their previous 16 matches, as 16 of their last 18 saw both sides earn a minimum of two corners each. Plymouth have proven similarly profitable for corners backers, hitting over two in 16 of their previous 18 outings across all competitions.
