Norwich’s home form is keeping them firmly in the play-off race. The 1-0 victory over Sunderland last weekend was a 5th successive win at Carrow Road and stretched their unbeaten run there to 10 games. The Canaries could not hand pick a better opponent to extend that run than Rotherham.

The Millers have lost eight on the spin, including the last four away and have only collected four points from 18 road trips this term. The latest being a 5-0 hammering at Coventry on Tuesday where they found themselves 4-0 down before half-time. It could be a long afternoon in Norfolk for the bottom side.

Southampton need to keep winning to stay in touch with the relentless pace at the top of the Championship. This represents a good opportunity with Sunderland now having lost their last five games. The main concern for the Black Cats is a lack of cutting edge in the absence of Jack Clarke. Two 1-0 defeats in the space of a week highlight that.

Saints put a nine-game winning sequence together at St Mary’s prior to a loss to Hull scoring 28 goals across that run of fixtures. They will be keen to recreate something similar for the promotion run in.

Reading will look to get back to winning ways on home soil having put together a run of five wins in six prior to a shock loss to Shrewsbury. A vital 3-1 win at Carlisle last weekend will renew confidence especially against a Wycombe side who are poor travellers.

The Chairboys have only won once in 11 road trips losing three of the last four.

Walsall are the form team in League Two with their 3-1 defeat of Doncaster a fifth consecutive victory. Ten wins from their last 16 league games have catapulted the Saddlers into the play off places and they will look to consolidate that position with a visit to Forest Green.

Steve Cotterill’s men are still five points from safety and are on course for successive relegations. Rovers have the worst home record in the division having picked up just 13 points from 18 games at The New Lawn. Having scored the fewest times (16) on home soil while only two sides have conceded more than their 32 goals.

MK Dons secured a huge three points in midweek. Travelling to league leaders Mansfield and coming from behind to claim a 2-1 win. That victory not only puts seven points between themselves, and 8th placed Morecambe but closes the gap to the automatic promotion places to just two points. Only Wrexham have claimed more points on home soil this season than the Dons who have won nine of their 12 games at Stadium MK under Mike Williamson.

It has been a hugely disappointing season for 19th placed Salford who were beaten play off semi-finalists last term. They were hammered 5-1 by Mansfield on their last road trip with Milton Keynes winning the reverse fixture 4-2 in November.
