Irish NH Tips Ebor Festival Thursday Tips

This filly was an impressive winner in debut before going to Goodwood where she disappointed when going off 1/2 Fav, but the form of that race hasn't worked out too badly and she bounced right back to form at Kempton last time when beating an 88 rated rival while conceding 7lbs.

If she can step forward again, she should be a certainty in this race.

This horse, while having run four times, has not won a maiden, but he was very competitive last time in a Goodwood Nursery, where he was mugged in the dying strides by his stable companion Mr Chaplin.

He runs off 6lbs higher than that Goodwood run, but his style looks made for this track and Hector Crouch gets on very well with him. If he can step forward again from that Goodwood run last time, he should be very difficult to beat.

This unexposed daughter of Make Believe has just seven starts under her belt to date, and while she hasn't won yet this season, she has run some very creditable races in defeat over a mile in the Kensington Palace at Ascot and again in a Listed event at Pontefract last time.

Now she comes here off a 9lb higher mark than Ascot, but she's improving all the time and I think the drop back to 7 furlongs on a stiff track like York will be right up her street. I expect her to go very close.
