After their spirited performance got them off the mark on Wednesday, Scotland know that victory over Hungary would boost their hopes of reaching the Round of 16. I’ve not seen enough from Hungary to be impressed and therefore, I am backing the Tartan Army to come out on top here.

Although Che Adams put in a herculean shift for Scotland in midweek, the forward did not manage to get on the scoresheet. Thankfully, teammate Scott McTominay did and with his ability to drive through midfield into the final third, I am backing the Manchester United man to score on Sunday.

When looking at the Scottish and Hungarian defences, neither fills me with much in the way of confidence. However, I think both teams will be cagey rather than swashbuckling in this Group A clash and therefore, I am backing under 4.5 goals in total to cover many final score outcomes.
