The FedEx Cup Playoff Series moves onto the BMW Championship on Thursday, just days after Justin Rose won the FedEx St. Jude Championship after beating J.J. Spaun in a playoff.
The event should have the world's best 50 players competing, but Austrian Sepp Straka has had to withdraw because of personal reasons.

Rory McIlroy made the surprise decision to skip last week's FedEx St. Jude Championship, but a player of his calibre should be able to hit the ground running on day one after a brief rest.
The Northern Irishman landed the Career Grand Slam earlier this year by winning The Masters and he has loved playing in this event in the past.
McIlroy, who won the BMW Championship in 2012, has also finished in the top-10 on six occasions.
In his last seven starts in this event, he has finished inside the top 20 every time, and he has four wins from his last 15 starts, as well as six top-seven finishes.
McIlroy is the second favourite behind Scottie Scheffler, but the American will play without regular caddie Ted Scott this week and that could make all the difference.
BMW Championship
American Cameron Young is in a rich vein of form, having won the Wyndham Championship two weeks ago, before finishing fifth last week.
The 28-year-old has ranked first and second Off The Tee in his last two starts, as well as fourth and second for Driving Distance.
Around the Caves Valley Golf Club, that is going to be so important and he can go close once again if he maintains that form.
BMW Championship
Californian Kurt Kitayama has already done the business ahead of 2026, as his participation this week means he will automatically qualify for the big events next year.
The 32-year-old won the 3M Open three weeks ago and he also finished tied ninth at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
Kitayama has not finished outside the top 32 in any of his last five appearances on the PGA Tour, and his accuracy and recent Tee to Green performances means he has been in some great positions to score well.
He has experience of winning big events, having won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2023, and he should go close at a big price.
