Autumn Internationals – Week Two – Copybet
Following some thrilling Test matches to start the month, the Autumn Internationals continue this weekend, with games taking place in Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Udine, Paris, and Cardiff.
Scotland will be going in search of their first-ever win over New Zealand when they meet at Murrayfield on Saturday, before England look for revenge when they host Fiji at Allianz Stadium.
The pick of the weekend’s fixtures takes place on Saturday night at the Stade de France as France take on fellow heavyweights South Africa.
Scotland vs New Zealand
Having ended lengthy waits with wins away in London and Paris in recent years, Gregor Townsend’s Scotland have another record in their sights to break.
Drawing twice previously, Scotland have never managed a victory over the mighty All Blacks and the men in blue will be hoping 2025 can be the year they finally break the Kiwi curse.
On the back of an 85-0 win over the USA last week, Scotland will bring in many of their British & Irish Lions stars from the summer.
New Zealand head into this one on the back of an impressive 26-13 win over Ireland in Chicago, and, despite picking up injuries, they are the deserved favourites to continue their winning run against the Scots.
This has the makings of another end-to-end contest, like the one witnessed at Murrayfield in 2022 when they last met.
A 31-23 victory for the All Blacks that day in the Scottish capital, another match with over 52.5 total points appeals here.
England vs Fiji
The last time Fiji and England crossed paths at Allianz Stadium, it was the Pacific Islanders who were the ones celebrating after the full-time whistle.
Winning 30-22, it was a famous first win for the Fijians against England at the Home of Rugby.
Steve Borthwick’s men did get their revenge with a 30-24 victory over the Fijians a couple of months later at the 2023 World Cup and now the two nations are on a collision course again on Saturday.
England, having impressed in their 25-7 win over Australia last weekend, should have enough quality to beat this Fijian outfit on Saturday.
However, the visitors will have their moments in this game and the tourists to score over 2.5 tries at Allianz Stadium is a generous 11/10, especially considering the Flying Fijians have scored three tries in each of their last two games against England.
France vs South Africa
It’s set to be a special Saturday night in Saint-Denis, as Six Nations champions France host the Rugby Championship title holders South Africa in a battle of the hemispheres.
Considering these are two sides that pride themselves on their brutal defences, games between these teams have been thrilling, high-scoring games in recent years.
Over 54.5 total points have been scored in all of the last three meetings between these nations and it would be little surprise to see that trend continue under the lights at the Stade de France this weekend.
