World Cup Qualifying Play-Off Finals – Copybet

The race for the 2026 World Cup is almost over and we are down to the final eight European teams that are fighting for a place in this summer's tournament.

There are four European Play-Off ties on the agenda on Tuesday, with Bosnia and Herzegovina taking on Italy, while the Czech Republic host Denmark in Prague.

Kosovo have home advantage as they look to get past Turkiye to secure their place, while Sweden and Poland will collide in Solna in the fourth Play-Off.

Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Italy

Tue 31 Mar, 19:45

Italy face a trip to Zenica as they try to secure their spot in this summer's World Cup, having reached this stage with a 2-0 win over Northern Ireland.

Both teams are trying to secure their first spot at a World Cup since 2014 and nerves are bound to play their part.

The hosts have been involved in some lively affairs in recent months, with both teams having scored in their last six games.

The Dragons have only kept one clean sheet in their last 10 games at home, while Italy have scored two or more goals in eight consecutive matches.

Although the Azzurri have kept five clean sheets during that run, most of that success has come on home soil. Away from home, they have conceded in seven of their last 10 outings.

Czech Republic vs Denmark

Tue 31 Mar, 19:45

The Czech Republic a very late equaliser before extra-time and penalties to beat the Republic of Ireland last week and may now fall at the last hurdle.

Denmark hammered North Macedonia 4-0 to show their quality and will expect to outclass their hosts, who have failed to win three of their last five matches at home.

The Danes have only lost one of their last nine games and have scored two or more goals in eight of those matches, so expect them to punish their hosts at any given opportunity.

Kosovo vs Turkiye

Tue 31 Mar, 19:45

Turkiye are odds-on to beat Kosovo and should have too much class across the park for their hosts, even if Kosovo managed to beat Sweden home and away in qualifying and are unbeaten in six games.

Franco Foda’s men conceded three goals to Slovakia last week and that does not bode well ahead of a clash with Vincenzo Montella's side.

Turkiye have scored 15 goals in their last five games and managed to win four of those, as well as securing an impressive 2-2 draw with World Cup favourites Spain. The Crescent Stars should have the upper hand in Pristina.

Sweden vs Poland

Tue 31 Mar, 19:45

Poland look good value for an away win against a Sweden side that is only still in contention due to their Nations League campaign.

Sweden finished bottom of Group B after failing to win any of their qualifying games, losing four of their six games, while Poland racked up 17 points in eight matches in finishing second to the Netherlands in Group G.

The hosts have only won one of their last seven games, while Poland are unbeaten in seven, and have five wins to their name in that time.

The Eagles are unbeaten in their last three away games and can put their name in the hat for this summer's showpiece event.
