Premier League Darts Week Two darts betting tips and predictions – Copybet
The Premier League action resumes on Thursday evening as the eight-strong field head to Antwerp for the second night of darting drama.
Michael van Gerwen got the better of fellow Dutchman Gian van Veen to land the opening spoils in this season’s Premier League at the Newcastle Arena, but Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price, Josh Rock, Jonny Clayton and Stephen Bunting will all be hoping to make their mark in Antwerp.
Luke Littler vs Luke Humphries
Humphries defeated Littler 11-8 in last season’s Premier League final at the O2 Arena, which avenged Littler’s win over him in the 2024 title decider.
These two remain the best two players on the planet but two-time world champion and world number one Littler tends to raise his level for Humphries, having won six of their last seven rivalries.
The Nuke defeated Humphries 6-5 in set play in the World Masters final earlier this month, with both players averaging over 104, and they are expected to bring the best out in eachother again.
The dominant duo met nine times in last season’s Premier League, Littler edging the head-to-head battle 5-4, and five of their eight best-of-11 leg clashes ended either 6-4 or 6-5.
Michael van Gerwen vs Josh Rock
Van Gerwen has had a tremendous start to 2026, winning the Bahrain Darts Masters in January before a runner-up effort in the Saudi Arabian equivalent.
The Green Machine crashed out early in the World Masters but bounced back to win Night One of the Premier League in Newcastle, seeing off Bunting and Humphries 6-2 before a 6-4 victory over Van Veen in the final.
MvG also performed strongly in last week's opening two Players Championship events, winning nine of his 11 matches to post a run to a semi-final and a quarter-final, hinting that he could be coming right back to his brilliant best.
Rock has lost three of his last five matches, which includes a 6-2 defeat to Clayton in last week’s Premier League opener.
Jonny Clayton vs Stephen Bunting
Both players will see this as a big opportunity to claim some points and that could lead to a cagey encounter, with 180’s potentially hard to come by.
When Clayton defeated Bunting 16-7 in the quarter-final of the World Matchplay there were only 11 maximums, so a best-of-11 encounter could struggle to pass a line of 5.5.
In Bunting’s 6-2 quarter-final loss to Van Gerwen last week there were just three 180’s and Clayton is more renowned for his 140-hitting than being a maximum machine.
Gerwyn Price vs Gian van Veen
Price suffered a 6-5 defeat to Humphries in the quarter-final in Newcastle, while World Championship runner-up Van Veen played second fiddle to Van Gerwen in the final.
However, Price has won eight of his nine previous meetings with Van Veen and is holding his form supremely well, highlighted by a run to the Players Championship 2 final on Tuesday.
The Welshman whitewashed Van Gerwen 6-0 in the quarter-final and was unfortunate to lose 8-7 to Wessel Nijman in the title decider, having averaged 107.41.
