Premier League Darts Week Four darts betting tips and predictions – Copybet

Premier League Darts is off to Belfast this Thursday and local hero Josh Rock will be hoping a partisan crowd can cheer him to nightly glory.

The Northern Irishman has struggled on his first taste of the Premier League with three defeats in three weeks, but will surely feel right at home toeing the oche at the SSE Arena.

Luke Littler vs Jonny Clayton

If you'd have said which of these two would be top of the Premier League after three weeks you'd have got short odds on that player being Luke Littler.

Yet it's former champion Jonny Clayton who is enjoying a welcome return to the competition, sitting top of the table on nine points courtesy of a pair of semi-finals and last week's success in Glasgow.

He will have his work cut out fending off a rejuvenated Littler, whose league performances thus far have been pretty average by his sky-high standards but he did win the Poland Darts Open at the weekend.

The match prices look about right but The Ferret is certainly playing well enough to soar above a 2-way average of 97.5, a mark he has cleared in five of seven games to date.

Littler's matches are both fast-paced and high-scoring and with scrappy legs unlikely given how clinical these two are on the doubles, expect a pair of big averages.

Stephen Bunting vs Luke Humphries

Stephen Bunting must be wondering why he bothers toeing the oche every Thursday.

In last season's Premier League he failed to win a single game in the first eight weeks of battle and he's at it again, pointless after three rounds in 2026.

It's early days and he could improve but he's a confidence player who takes losses hard, and having found new ways to lose this season - for example blowing a 4-0 lead against Clayton in Antwerp two weeks ago - his head may well be scrambled.

And if you're feeling fragile against a player like Luke Humphries, then there should be only one outcome because Cool Hand is throwing as well as anyone and better than most at the moment.

Yes, he only has four points to show from three weeks of combat but he reached the Masters final and is a Players Championship winner already this year.

Bunting only has nine legs on the board from three defeats so it would be a minor surprise if he gets to four in this one. Back Humphries to cover a 2.5-leg spread accordingly.

Gian van Veen vs Josh Rock

Thu 26 Feb, 20:45

So, which is it to be?

Josh Rock, roared on by a strong home crowd in Belfast, hits dazzling heights and powers to a routing win over Gian van Veen in the last quarter-final.

Or Josh Rock, fazed by the occasion and under pressure with no points on the board, folds again.

Rock's match odds suggest somewhere nearer the latter than the former and certainly a trio of 6-2 losses doesn't exactly hint at a player brimming with self-belief.

Rock is better than this and the crowd on his side has to help the debutant, but Van Veen, who reached the world final at Alexandra Palace despite fighting a pro-home crowd, does look strong.

Strong enough to beat Rock, without doubt. Strong enough to win with something in hand? Quite possibly. Back the Dutchman to cover a 2.5-leg spread at decent odds.
