NFL Week 16 betting tips and predictions – Copybet
With the NFL regular season approaching a conclusion, a number of teams can clinch their places in the playoffs this weekend with positive results.
The Philadelphia Eagles can wrap up the NFC East title, while there’s a juicy head-to-head between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers in the battle for the NFC North crown to look forward to this weekend.
Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Commanders
Getting back to winning ways and looking more like themselves against the Las Vegas Raiders last time out, the Philadelphia Eagles will be crowned NFC East champions for a second successive year with a win at the Washington Commanders on Saturday.
That 31-0 win at the Raiders was desperately needed by head coach Nick Sirianni following a three-game losing streak and now the Eagles will look to build on that display against the Commanders.
Washington are not nearly the side they were last season, and have stood down their starting quarterback Jayden Daniels for the remainder of the campaign.
The Eagles appear to be back firing on offence through QB Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley, and should cover the spread at the Commanders, having thumped their NFC East rivals 55-23 in their most recent meeting in January.
Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears
Creeping over into the early hours of Sunday morning, the Chicago Bears will look to strengthen their push for the NFC North title as they welcome long-time rivals Green Bay to Soldier Field.
Claiming wins in six of their last seven games, that impressive stretch featured just one setback, a narrow 28–21 loss away to the Packers at Lambeau Field.
Given how competitive they were on the road, Chicago will fancy their chances of turning the tables on home soil this time around, having won five of six at Soldier Field this season.
Minnesota Vikings vs New York Giants
Although their playoff ambitions may already be over, the Minnesota Vikings are aiming to at least end the campaign with some positive momentum.
A run of four straight defeats derailed their NFC North challenge, but consecutive victories over the Washington Commanders and, most recently, the Dallas Cowboys have helped restore confidence within the roster.
The Vikings now face a struggling New York Giants team that has dropped eight games in a row and suffered four home losses at MetLife Stadium already this season, leaving Minnesota well placed to secure a third successive win on Sunday and cover the -3.5 spread in the process.
Kansas City Chiefs vs Tennessee Titans
With no playoff football to look forward to and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes picking up an ACL injury, last season’s run to the Super Bowl will feel like an age ago for Kansas City Chiefs supporters.
With Mahomes sidelined for the trip to Nissan Stadium and their playoff hopes already extinguished, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid may opt to experiment with his lineup on Sunday.
While the Titans have struggled throughout the campaign with their 2-12 record, facing a Kansas City team without their star quarterback could level the playing field.
As a result, the Titans are capable of keeping this contest tighter than anticipated and look appealing with a +2.5 handicap.
