NFL Week 13 betting tips and predictions – Copybet

Week 13 kicks off with a Thanksgiving triple-header featuring the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens, followed by a Black Friday clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears.

Sunday’s slate includes a crucial AFC South showdown between the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts. Injury concerns loom large across several teams, adding extra intrigue to the betting angles.

Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions

Thu 27 Nov, 18:00

The Detroit Lions (7-4) rallied late to beat the New York Giants last week, with RB Jahmyr Gibbs exploding for 219 rushing yards.

Jared Goff threw an interception and was sacked three times amid some fresh injury concerns on Detroit’s offensive line.

C Graham Glasgow (knee) missed practice this week, alongside WR Kalif Raymond (ankle), S Kerby Joseph and TE Brock Wright.

Green Bay (7-3-1) have a slightly better record than their division rivals after securing back-to-back victories.

RB Josh Jacobs is considered day-to-day after missing the win over the Minnesota Vikings with a knee injury he sustained against the Giants.

Detroit won their first Thanksgiving Day game since 2016 last year and can use their ‘dome’ advantage again.

Goff’s record at Ford Field and Gibbs’ form make them strong favourites to cover.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Dallas Cowboys

Thu 27 Nov, 21:30

Kansas City (6-5) snapped a two-game losing skid last week and will be more effective for the return of RB Isiah Pacheco, who has missed three games.

TE Noah Gray (concussion) is ruled out and guard Trey Smith (ankle) is doubtful but Patrick Mahomes (groin) has been practicing fully.

A vital Week 12 win over the Eagles keeps the Cowboys (5-5-1) in play-off contention, but Dallas faces a brutal run of upcoming games that will see them visit the Lions and host the Los Angeles Chargers.

Star wide receiver George Pickens has been limited in practice by a knee/calf injury and several defensive starters are nursing injuries, so the quick turnaround following their big win could work against them.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens

Fri 28 Nov, 01:20

Baltimore (6-5) are vying for the AFC North crown again after a five-game tear.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson (toe) has been cleared to play, although RB Justice Hill (neck) remains a doubt.

Sidelined since Week 3, Joe Burrow is set to make his long-awaited return for Cincinnati, but WR Tee Higgins (concussion) and DE Trey Hendrickson (hip) are both ruled out.

Burrow’s return boosts the Bengals, but Baltimore’s defence has not given up more than 19 points in each of their last six games so the Ravens are tipped to cover.

Chicago Bears vs Philadelphia Eagles

Fri 28 Nov, 20:00

The Chicago Bears (8-3) have won four in a row with QB Caleb Williams looking back to his best against the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday.

The Eagles (8-3) are dealing with injuries to WR DeVonta Smith (shoulder) and RT Lane Johnson (foot).

Given Philadelphia’s recent struggles to win big and Chicago’s momentum, the Bears look good value to cover.

Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts

Sun 30 Nov, 18:00

Indianapolis surrendered some momentum with their narrow 23-20 defeat to the Chiefs at Arrowhead last Sunday.

Still, the Colts have the chance to reassert control at the top of the AFC South if they can overcome a resilient Texans side.

Houston have continued to grind out wins despite losing franchise quarterback C.J. Stroud to concussion protocol earlier this month.

At 6-5, the Texans remain firmly in the play-off mix thanks to second-string passer Davis Mills, who has guided them to three straight victories, capped by a shock upset of the Buffalo Bills last Thursday.

With extra rest and a defence ranked among the league’s best, Houston look well placed to test the Colts again and potentially derail their play-off bid.
