Johnny Burke's Thoughts Ahead of Thursday's race at Worcester
Ahead of Thursday's meeting, CopyBet ambassador Johnny Burke has shared his thoughts on his three rides at Worcester, including Caterpillar Girl, Scintillante, and Churchman, as he looks for a successful afternoon at one of jump racing’s most popular spring venues.
Worcester
In the 14:25 race, I am on Caterpillar Girl, who was going nicely at Warwick last time and was jumping and travelling well until a fall four fences from home. She has been working and schooling well, and I think Worcester will really suit her tomorrow, as it is a very fair and flat track.
Worcester
My next ride comes in the Read Johnny Burke's Blog At Copybet Handicap Hurdle at 16:30, and for obvious reasons, it would be great to win aboard Scintillante, who showed a real liking for Worcester last summer with a couple of wins and placed efforts at the track. He came back to better form last time at Warwick, which was a step back in the right direction, and hopefully a return to Worcester on ground he will appreciate can bring about further improvement and see him there or thereabouts!

My last ride will be Churchman in the 17:05 race, who has been a frustrating sort, and it is annoying he hasn't won before now, but has been running good races in defeat and has been pretty consistent overall. He has a low racing weight tomorrow to carry, and hopefully he can make use of that and run very well.
