Copybet Novices' Limited Handicap Chase – Worcester
I'm looking forward to being back at Worcester on Friday in a number of races sponsored by CopyBet and it does look like a cracking card.
I kick the day off with Kally Des Bruyeres who was in good form at the end of last season. He did fall on his last start in May, but he was coming to the end of a long season and now he has had a break and hopefully if he brings his best form he will be there or thereabouts.
Copybet Arc Summer Chase Series Final Handicap Chase – Worcester
Merely A Detail is my second ride of the day in the CopyBet sponsored Summer Chase Final and she has been in great form since going chasing and has won round Worcester, which is a plus. She is stepping up in trip and I don't see that to be a problem and this should be a truly run race which will suit her, as she likes to be dropped in and come from behind. Her win last time at Fontwell was the best she ever felt and if she has improved a bit again then she will take a lot of beating.
CopyBet Fixed Brush Hurdle Series Final – Worcester
Next up is Oneinthewell in the CopyBet Fixed Brush Final and this is a great race to have a ride in, and he ran a really good race in the qualifier against some of the other rivals in the race. He probably has a bit to find with a couple of others on ratings, but he is a good, honest horse with plenty handicap experience and if he can put that to good use then he would have a very good each-way chance.
FBC Manby Bowdler Maiden Hurdle – Worcester
My final ride of the day is Ade Boy for Charlie Longsdon in colours I have been very lucky in over the years since I have been based in England. He has some good back form and although his last run was most disappointing, his run back at Wetherby behind Starmount he wasn't beaten too far and then Starmount went on to run at Grade 1 level last Winter. Charlie's horses do well this time of year and he needs to come here in good form and if he does he will be very competitive.
I have 4 good rides and I am really looking forward to the day and always great to be riding at a Worcester meeting where CopyBet are sponsoring.
