Johnny Burke looks ahead to Worcester 2026

Looking ahead to the Copybet and Worcester partnership, which officially starts on Friday 22nd May, we caught up with Copybet's Racing Ambassador Johnny Burke who shared some thoughts ahead of the opening night of Worcester's Summer Jumps season.

I am really looking forward to Worcester coming back for the summer racing. It is a unique place to ride at, as they only use the one racing line each race day, and the course always provides a good surface, as well as the fixed brush hurdles, where I have had a lot of winners over the years. I had a good day riding Chicker to victory in the bumper there last August before he went on to score at the Showcase Meeting at Cheltenham a couple of months later.

I will be riding at the Copybet sponsored evening on Friday, 22nd May and hopefully can have a winner, but the drive home isn't too far in case I don't have any luck on this visit!
