Formula 1: Mexican Grand Prix – Copybet
For many months the 2025 Formula 1 title battle was a straight head-to-head between the two McLarens, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
However, in a dramatic twist, the fight for the crown has turned into a three-horse race, with four-time world champion Max Verstappen soaring into contention.
Winning three of the last four races, the Red Bull ace is now 40 points behind frontrunner Piastri and can narrow the gap on the Australian in the Drivers’ Championship with victory in the Mexican capital on Sunday.

Having taken the chequered flag to claim the USA Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas last weekend, Verstappen could not really pick a better race to follow up at.
The Dutchman has relished the Mexico City Grand Prix in the past, so much so that no other driver has won this race more times.
Verstappen claimed his first title at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in 2017 and has gone on to win the race a further four times.
With a clear liking for this circuit and the two McLarens battling with each other for supremacy, Verstappen is backed to land his sixth win at the Mexico City Grand Prix on Sunday and narrow that 40-point gap to Oscar Piastri in the standings in the process.

George Russell is backed to return to the podium this weekend after a disappointing result at the United States Grand Prix.
Finishing down in sixth place last week, Russell struggled to back up the win he enjoyed at the Singapore Grand Prix.
Coming in fourth, sixth and fifth in his last three visits to Mexico, Russell has been on the fringes of a podium finish in this race recently.
However, given the Mercedes ace has recorded eight podium finishes this season, including wins in Canada and Singapore, Russell is backed to secure another top-three finish on Sunday.
