Formula 1: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Copybet

The 2025 Formula 1 World Championship concludes at the Yas Marina Circuit this weekend with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix taking centre stage on Sunday.

Having allowed his title rivals Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri a chance to make up ground last weekend in Qatar, Lando Norris will look to seal the 2025 title in the final race of the season.

Although his championship rival Verstappen boasts an outstanding history at the Yas Marina Circuit, having taken four straight wins from 2020 to 2023, it was Norris who finally halted the Dutchman's streak last year.

Already proving himself capable of triumphing around Yas Marina should give Norris plenty of belief heading into Sunday's showdown with the world title on the line as he competes for glory alongside Verstappen and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.

Even though the Bristol-born driver doesn't strictly need a victory this weekend to wrap up the Drivers’ Championship, the McLaren star won't be looking to leave anything to chance.

With last year's win at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix under his belt and significant progress made with McLaren since, including seven more race victories this year, Norris appears to offer excellent value to take the chequered flag again to cap off a tremendous year for the 26-year-old.

Williams driver Carlos Sainz is closing out the season in impressive fashion and seems to be piecing together drives that could form a strong platform heading into the 2026 campaign.

After a difficult stretch in the USA, Mexico and Singapore, Sainz found his footing again with a fifth-place finish at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Proving that result in the desert was no flash in the pan, the former Ferrari driver backed it up with a podium run in Qatar last weekend, securing third place.

While the spotlight will understandably be on the title contenders at the sharp end of the grid, Sainz is poised to quietly get the job done and the Spaniard can notch a third straight top-six finish to round out the campaign.
