Champions League Game Play-Offs 2nd Legs football tips and predictions – Copybet

Teams are battling for a place in the last-16 stage of the Champions League on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the second legs of the Knockout Play-Offs taking place.

Some sides have mountains to climb while other ties are finely balanced ahead of two intriguing nights of football across the continent.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Olympiacos

Tue 24 Feb, 20:00

After their impressive 2-0 victory in Greece in the first leg, Bayer Leverkusen have every reason to feel confident about facing Olympiacos once again.

Having already shown they can dismantle the Piraeus side’s defence, the German outfit are well positioned to secure another victory on Tuesday.

Although Leverkusen did suffer a surprise 1-0 defeat to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga after their first-leg success, they did name some of their regular starters on the bench and their overall form remains strong.

Bayer have lost just one of their last eight matches across all competitions and are currently enjoying a four-game winning streak at the BayArena.

Leverkusen’s defensive efforts have been key to this purple patch of form, having kept clean sheets in each of their last four home games, and they will be confident of maintaining that solidity at the back by recording another win to nil against Olympiacos.

Inter Milan vs Bodo/Glimt

Tue 24 Feb, 20:00

Bodo/Glimt claimed yet another scalp in the Arctic Circle with a 3-1 first-leg win over Inter Milan but the Norwegian outfit will know there is still a mighty task ahead of them at the San Siro in the second leg on Tuesday.

Glimt have already shown what they are capable of on the road in the Champions League, having won 2-1 at Atletico Madrid in their last away game.

Taking on an Inter side that have won all of their last three home games will not be easy and it is hard to see Glimt stopping the Nerazzurri from winning on the night.

Inter to win and both teams to score would have landed in all of the Serie A outfit’s last three games at the San Siro and there is value to be had backing that trend continuing.

Juventus vs Galatasaray

Wed 25 Feb, 20:00

Galatasaray stunned Juventus with a 5-2 victory in Istanbul in the first leg and the Turkish giants are good value to finish the job at Allianz Stadium on Wednesday night.

Juve are currently on a torrid run of form, without a win in their last five games in all competitions with four defeats and a draw in that spell.

Gala have won five of their last six games in all competitions and they are great value to either draw or win against a Juve side who look to be a shadow of their former selves at present.
