Can Palace win their first European trophy?
Crystal Palace have a date with destiny tomorrow night as they play in the first European final in their 121-year history. The Eagles take on Spanish side Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena for the Conference League final, in a match that their fans could only dream of a couple of years ago.
Crystal Palace vs Rayo Vallecano
That dream has now become reality as Palace look for their third piece of silverware in the space of 12 months after lifting the FA Cup and the Community Shield last year. Oliver Glasner’s side are favourites to lift the Conference League trophy, as they are 87/100 with CopyBet to win the match in 90 minutes.
After fully rotating his squad on Sunday for the final day of the Premier League season (don’t worry, City fans, it didn’t matter anyway) Glasner will have the luxury of calling upon a fresh first eleven.
One of those eleven will no doubt be Ismaila Sarr, who is the Conference League’s top goalscorer this season with nine goals, two of which came in Palace’s 5-2 aggregate win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the semi-finals. The Senegalese international is 7/4 with Copybet to score anytime over 90 minutes.
With the Conference League final being Glasner’s last match as Palace manager this could be the South London side's best-ever opportunity to make history and claim European glory.
