Best Odds Guaranteed Kempton horse racing tips – Copybet

Kempton stages one of its primary jump meetings of the year on Saturday, with seven races scheduled from the Surrey venue, including the feature Ladbrokes Trophy Chase (formerly Racing Post Chase) and a trio of Grade 2s.

We’ve provided our best three bets from the card, including one for Jane Williams at a big price in the Grade 2 Dovecote Novices’ Hurdle.

Jax Junior – Kempton

Lucy Wadham and Tom Cannon are proving an irresistible combination at present and their excellent run can continue with the progressive JAX JUNIOR in the Grade 2 Pendil Novices’ Chase.

Wadham has struck with four of her 12 runners so far this month, while Cannon has partnered seven winners from his last 18 rides and shows a level stakes profit of over £70 for the month of February.

This selection is likely to be a shade of odds-on, but he’s fully deserving of that having won five of his last nine starts and two of his four chase outings.

He produced a career-best effort when scoring at Sandown last time and has been found a good opportunity, racing off level weights against lower rated rivals.

Precious Man – Kempton

Sat 21 Feb, 13:45

Dan Skelton’s PRECIOUS MAN finished a little over three lengths behind One Horse Town when they met at Cheltenham in November, but there’s a strong chance those places will be reversed on these more favourable terms.

Precious Man, a winner in France last spring, was favoured ahead of Harry Derham’s charge in that Grade 2 at the November Meeting, but he refused to settle in rear and was unable to run down the all-the-way winner.

He’s since won well over this course and distance following wind surgery and looks set to follow up, with a 5lb pull from Cheltenham giving him the edge.

Matiwo – Kempton

Sat 21 Feb, 15:00

Jane Williams does extremely well with her French imports and MATIWO looks worthy of a small interest on Saturday, having created a good impression when winning readily at Newbury last month.

The four-year-old, who finished third at odds of 40/1 on his debut at Chepstow in October, had been keen prior to falling at the fifth flight in a Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham in December and appeared to appreciate the switch to front-running tactics when beating the odds-on Apollon Forlonges by seven lengths at Newbury.

He’s got a bit to find on the book with the best of these, but he was expected to come on a good bit from a physical perspective from his last run and is dangerous to discount in receipt of a handy four-year-old allowance. He represents good each-way value.
